A Note from Mike
Ten years ago, we had a Thanksgiving idea: bring together exceptional cheeses, meats, and all my favorite accompaniments on a platter you could simply unwrap and serve. One less thing for you to prepare. One more reason for everyone to gather. We love a good meal.
We started in a tiny rented Denver kitchen, working the only shift available - the late one. We started making fresh crostini, jams, mustards, and cheese balls; each season our offering changed with the freshest ingredients available.
Those first trays have grown into our Sunnyside shop, with wine, new favorites, and a wonderful team. We locked in for the 2020 rollercoaster, shifted to curbside pickup, and apparently “Charcuterie” became a household word along the way. It’s still a “cheese tray” to us.
Our staff puts care into the details and deliveries. We’ve learned a lot along the way, and I’m proud of their talent, dedication, and the warmth they bring to this business. After a decade, we’re still searching high and low to bring you the best-tasting cheese we can offer.
And to our customers: thank you. Whether you’ve been with us since that first Thanksgiving or are ordering for the first time, you’re the reason we get to keep doing this. Being invited to your holidays, celebrations, and ordinary Tuesdays is a privilege we never take for granted.
Here’s to ten years, many more gatherings, and a little less work for the host. And from one Thanksgiving host to another: never, ever forget the gravy.
With gratitude,
Mike
